July's meeting had us working on projects - both our personal ones and ones for the community. It was a good chance to relax, enjoy one another's company and get some quilting done.

At recent Mosaics Quilt workshop, we learned how to make beautiful mosaic pictures using tiny squares of cloth.

At the Sashiko Stitching Workshop, member Jude McCormick let us through the art of this traditional Japanese embroidery and mending technique. Using a repeating running stitch, we created beautiful geometric patterns.

We had an informational table at the Sr. Fair held at the Chrin Community Center where our meetings are also held.

A spring tea and tricky tray. A lovely day for comradery, good eats and lots of laughs.
