A hospital experience can be terrifying and traumatic for both a child and their family. Our whimsical pillowcases, donated to Ryan's Casefor Smiles, give children an emotional boost, helps with the stress and emotional impact of illness .
The Guild makes placemats for Meals on Wheels to accompany delivered meals to add a bit of comfort to an often solitary meal. This peoject has been on going since 2015.
Penn Rose provides tie-on walker bags and wheelchair totes for use by Gracedale residents.
Alzheimer patients benefit from having simulation and comfort from the fidget quilts donated to the facility.

Every homeless kennel animal should have a warm bed. Penn Rose makes and donates kennel pads to local animal shelters to provide comfort to these animals.
Guild members are actively involved in designing, and sewing quilts to honor our veterans.
In May 2023, the Guild designed and made a quilt as a raffle prize to raise funds for the Miracle League. The group provides recreational opportunites for children and young adults with intellectual and physical and handicaps.
Each year the guild knits, crochets or sews scarfs for the homeless in the area. We also provide "goody bags" during the holidays containing socks and essental hygiene items.
