    August 2026 - card holder project

    The group worked on Playing Card holders made from CDs.  These fun holders will be available for sale at the Penn Rose table at the Palmer Community Craft show on October 10th.

    July's meeting had us working on projects - both our personal ones and ones for the community.   It was a good chance to relax, enjoy one another's company and get some quilting done.

    At recent Mosaics Quilt workshop, we learned how to make beautiful mosaic pictures using tiny squares of cloth.

    At the Sashiko Stitching Workshop, member Jude McCormick let us through the art of this traditional Japanese embroidery and mending technique. Using a repeating running stitch,  we created beautiful geometric patterns.
